Kindergarten Mixer, part of Please Touch Museum's School Readiness Initiative, is a FREE fun-filled evening of play and learning, for families with children starting Kindergarten in the fall of 2015!
Kindergarten Mixer is a community event and the entire Museum will be open.
Advance registration is required.
Highlights include:
- The chance to meet a Kindergarten teacher!
- Family-friendly entertainment, including a special presentation of "Pinky Prepares for Kindergarten" in the Please Touch Playhouse
- A special gift for each registered Kindergartener (while supplies last)

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
The event is for children entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2015. Siblings are welcome to attend, but only the Kindergartener will recieve a backpack (while supplies last).
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
If you are driving, parking will be available in the guest parking lot, free of charge, as well in front of the Museum along Avenue of the Republic. The Museum is easily accessible by public transportation; SEPTA buses 38, 40, 43 and 64 make stops within walking distance. Additionally, the Phlash downtown loop makes a stop in front of the Museum.
